About the E-DATA Programme

E-DATA is delivered as part of the PEACEPLUS Programme, a cross-border funding initiative managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), which supports projects that promote economic development, innovation, and cooperation between Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.

The programme responds to a recognised need among SMEs for greater access to digital expertise, practical guidance, and support in implementing new technologies. While many businesses understand the importance of digital transformation, challenges such as limited internal capacity, uncertainty around investment, and lack of specialist knowledge can prevent progress.

E-DATA addresses these challenges through a structured support model that combines diagnostics, mentoring, and tailored interventions. This approach ensures that businesses receive targeted support aligned to their specific needs, enabling them to make informed decisions and implement solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

The programme places a strong emphasis on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and building capability across the region, supporting SMEs to improve efficiency, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
